Which pathway should I apply to?+

Applicants with at least one year of full-time work experience are considered for the 16-month PGP TBM. Final-year students and applicants with zero to eleven months of experience are considered for the 24-month Young Leaders Cohort.

Can final-year students apply?+

Yes. Final-year undergraduate students can apply to the Young Leaders Cohort.

How is work experience calculated?+

It is calculated from the date you begin full-time employment until the date your application is assessed in the relevant round.

Can applicants with more than five years of experience apply?+

Yes. Two to five years is the typical experience range, not an upper eligibility limit.

Are the programme fees different for the two pathways?+

No. The admission and tuition fees are the same for both pathways.

Is an internship mandatory?+

It is mandatory for the Young Leaders Cohort and non-mandatory for the 16-month PGP TBM pathway.

Is an entrance-test score mandatory?+

No. Submitting an external entrance-test score is optional.

Which entrance examinations are accepted?+

CAT, GMAT, GMAT Focus, GRE, XAT, NMAT, CMAT and SNAP are accepted. Scores from other recognised management entrance examinations may also be considered.

Does Masters’ Union have a fixed cutoff?+

No fixed cutoff is published. Test performance is one indicator within a holistic review.

Do I need MU-BAAT after submitting a score?+

No. Applicants submitting an accepted entrance-test score are not required to take MU-BAAT.

Can I take MU-BAAT even after submitting another score?+

Yes. You may take MU-BAAT voluntarily if you believe your submitted score does not accurately represent your ability.

What is the format of MU-BAAT?+

It is an online, video-based assessment lasting approximately 45–60 minutes, with nine questions across five sections.

Is there any additional Masters’ Union assessment?+

No. MU-BAAT is the only Masters’ Union admissions assessment for applicants who do not submit an accepted external test score.

When do Round 1 applications close?+

Round 1 closes on 10 October 2026.

What should I keep ready before applying?+

Keep your latest resume, academic details, experience or internship information, optional test score and relevant supporting documents ready.

Is the personal interview mandatory?+

Yes. Every shortlisted applicant must complete a personal interview.

How are interviews conducted?+

Interviews may be conducted online or on campus.

Who conducts the interview?+

Interviews are typically conducted by faculty members and industry leaders who teach in the PGP TBM.

What happens after the interview?+

The Admissions Committee reviews the complete profile and communicates the admission decision.

What is the total programme fee?+

The total programme fee is ₹33,65,384, including an admission fee of ₹90,000 and tuition fee of ₹32,75,384.

Is GST applicable?+

GST is not applicable on tuition and admission fees, as Masters’ Union is registered with the National Skill Development Corporation.

Is the admission fee refundable?+

It is partially refundable in accordance with the terms and conditions stated in the offer letter.

Do I need to apply separately for a scholarship?+

No. Every applicant is automatically considered for applicable scholarships.

When are scholarship decisions communicated?+

Can a loan cover the full programme fee?+

Financing of up to 100% of eligible programme and hostel fees may be available, subject to the lender’s assessment and approval.

Is hostel accommodation compulsory?+

No. Hostel accommodation is optional.

Where is the hostel located?+

The listed accommodation is located at Nathupur.

What room types and fees are available?+

Single occupancy is ₹5,25,000 and twin occupancy is ₹3,35,000 for 12 months, with a refundable ₹50,000 security deposit.

What does the hostel fee include?+

It includes internet, shuttle service, study spaces, recreation areas, cafeteria facilities and a gym. Food is not included.

Is the waitlist ranked?+

No. The Masters’ Union waitlist is unranked, and individual positions are not disclosed.

How are waitlist offers made?+

Offers may be released as seats become available and according to the requirements of the incoming cohort.

Can I apply again if I am not selected?+

Candidates who are not selected cannot apply again during the same academic year, but may apply for a future intake.
